The Need of the Hour: Relief, Not Just Respite
There comes a moment in all our lives where we pause—tired, worn out, overwhelmed—and ask ourselves: Isn’t there more to life than this constant chaos? From the moment we wake up, we are surrounded by noise—traffic jams, cluttered calendars, mounting responsibilities. And it’s not just the external world; it’s the storm within that often weighs us down.
Think about your body for a second. Every space you walk into, every interaction you have—even the silence in a crowded room—leaves an imprint. All those fleeting negative thoughts, the unspoken stresses, the invisible tension build up like blockages. And yet, we rarely pause to clear them. We keep going, carrying this invisible burden, waiting for something to shift, some relief to arrive.
For me, that moment of reckoning came when I realized: What if that relief was already here? What if we simply needed to remember it?
Discovering Reiki: A Missing Piece Falls into Place
Reiki found me like an old friend I didn’t realize I’d been missing. This ancient energy healing technique, rooted in the gentle touch of the hands and the quiet transmission of universal energy, offered something I hadn’t experienced before—stillness that healed.
Reiki isn’t dramatic. It doesn’t force or demand. It flows. Like water to the roots of a tree, it knows where to go, what to heal, and how to restore. I had always felt drawn to the healing arts. Even as a child, I intuitively knew I wanted to be of help to others—not in grand gestures, but in quiet, soul-nourishing ways. I dreamed of creating a healing space long before I even knew what form that dream would take.
And when Reiki entered my life, something clicked. I wasn’t just learning a technique—I was remembering a language my soul had always known.
From Curiosity to Calling
My first steps into this world weren’t unfamiliar. In college, I had casually explored Tarot, often reading cards for friends out of curiosity and joy. But Reiki? Reiki was different. It didn’t just reveal hidden truths; it transformed them. The practice offered me something that years of searching hadn’t—a deeper grounding, a sense of emotional stability I didn’t know I was missing.
I won’t sugarcoat it—my teenage years were turbulent. I carried a lot of inner conflict, unknowingly attracting negativity and amplifying my own stress. I know I wasn’t alone in this; many of us grow up feeling like we’re constantly fighting unseen battles. But once I began practicing Reiki, I began to feel… lighter. It wasn’t about escaping the darkness; it was about transmuting it.
Reiki helped me understand the patterns I had unconsciously repeated for years. It helped me pause, feel, and finally let go.
A Moment That Changed Everything
Skepticism is natural. I had my share of doubts, wondering: How does this really work? That was until one powerful experience shattered any hesitation I had.
My mother was traveling and experiencing severe knee pain. We were miles apart, but I decided to send her distance Reiki. With a focused intention and an open heart, I began the healing. And something incredible happened—her pain subsided. She called me to tell me how much better she felt. I was stunned. Not just because it worked, but because I felt it too.
That moment wasn’t just about relieving her pain. It was the affirmation I needed: This is real. This is powerful. This is my path. Reiki became more than a practice—it became a way of life. My compass. My truth.
When Grief Knocks: Turning to Reiki for Strength
Nothing prepares you for the loss of a loved one. When my mother passed away, my world stood still. Even with a spiritual understanding of life and death, the grief hit me like a tidal wave. A part of me broke wide open. But another part of me—grounded in Reiki—held firm.
I won’t lie. It hurt. Deeply. But Reiki became the bridge that helped me walk across that pain. In the silence of my healing sessions, I found her presence. In the gentle energy flowing through my hands, I found peace. I didn’t just “cope”; I connected—with her, with myself, with the eternal life force that runs through all of us.
Grief is personal. It’s messy. But time and again, with my clients, I’ve seen how Reiki offers a sanctuary. A soft landing. A space where healing can begin—on every level. Emotionally. Energetically. Spiritually.
With each client, I listen carefully. Behind every ailment is a story, and Reiki, with its sacred symbols—power, mental, and distance—helps us dive deep into that story, unravel the pain, and begin anew.
Karuna Reiki: Deepening the Journey
As my journey progressed, I felt called to go deeper—and that’s where Karuna Reiki came in. Karuna, meaning compassion, is a profound evolution of traditional Reiki. It works at the cellular and karmic level, helping release trauma stored not just in this lifetime, but sometimes carried across lifetimes.
It’s intense, yes. But also immensely liberating.
Whether working with past-life wounds, deeply buried grief, or emotional patterns locked in the body, Karuna Reiki has allowed me to witness transformations that are nothing short of miraculous. Often, clients feel a wave of drowsiness after sessions—an indicator that the body is finally resting, integrating, healing.
Healing isn’t always about fixing. Sometimes, it’s about remembering who we were before the pain.
Expanding My Healing Toolkit
Reiki was the doorway—but the path didn’t stop there.
As I continued walking the healing path, I felt deeply drawn to explore and learn many other powerful energy-based and therapeutic modalities. From intuitive energy clearing, chakra therapy, Humkara with Haleem, Lama Fera, and Vastu Shastra to crystal healing, candle healing, angel healing, and Yantra making—each one opened a new window into the subtle, sacred layers of transformation.
I also immersed myself in deeply integrative practices like EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), mudras, meditation, guided inner child healing, and the intuitive language of numerology—each offering a new dimension to understanding the self, the soul, and the patterns that shape our lives.
Some of these techniques anchor us deeply into the body; others awaken our spiritual vision or clear energetic residue from lifetimes. Together, they’ve helped me understand healing as an ongoing dance—a rhythm between remembering and releasing, receiving and realigning.
Today, I intuitively blend these modalities during my sessions—allowing the energy to guide the way, and supporting each person’s journey with presence, compassion, and care. Because healing, at its core, is about coming home to ourselves—and I’m honored to walk that path with those who are ready.
